Get the Latest News and Updates

What is a feed?
Feeds allow you to easily see when your favorite websites have added new content. If there are many sites you visit frequently, without RSS (Really Simple Syndication) the only way you can find out if anything on the sites has been updated is to go to each site individually. This can take a long time. RSS is an information aggregation technology that helps you to integrate these websites in one browser or page that shows the new or updated information from all the sites you choose.

How do I use feeds?
RSS feeds can be read using an "RSS reader" or "feed reader". Many web browsers (such as Firefox or Internet Explorer) have feed readers built in so you could use those. There are also many free readers available on the internet, please have a look at the list below.

The list below provides links to some news readers available:

  • SharpReader Simple, but gets the job done.
  • FeedDemon A more complicated aggregator for Windows.
  • FeedReader Like SharpReader, but sporadically updated.
  • NewsGator Read the news from within Microsoft Outlook.

  • NetNewsWire This elegant Mac-like aggregator is easy to use and powerful.

  • Web: Bloglines Simple two-pane interface, like email.
