Environmental education is a crucial way of empowering individuals and communities to contribute to building a global sustainable society. The Amazon Ecological Conservation Center (CEPEAM) near Manaus, Brazil, was founded in 1992 by SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, and this film highlights its environmental education activities aimed at strengthening local people’s understanding and empowering them to take action for change.
