SGI-NZ Members Organize Beach Cleanup

On February 26, SGI New Zealand (SGI-NZ) members from Auckland gathered to clean up Browns Bay beach. SGI-NZ members organized the cleanup to take place during EcoFest 2012, from February 4 to March 2, which aims to raise awareness of community environmental organizations and promote sustainable living. Some 64 people participated in the cleanup and a total of 26 bags of garbage were collected, including bottles and cans.
