An exhibition created by the SGI and Earth Charter initiative, "Seeds of Change: The Earth Charter and Human Potential," was shown at Borgarholtsskóli High School in Reykjavík during the school's environmental week from March 26 to April 1. The exhibition, which addresses sustainable development and the role of education and introduces the Earth Charter as a set of values and principles for sustainable living, served as a focus of study for some 800 students over a period of a week. SGI members helped facilitate students' study by preparing questions relating to the exhibition.

The students also created other displays giving information about ways of cutting down on waste and saving energy.

The exhibition was also shown in Ármúlaskóli High School in Reykjavík during its environmental week from April 3-10.
