"Seeds of Change" Exhibition Held in Peru

The joint SGI and Earth Charter exhibition "Seeds of Change: The Earth Charter and Human Potential" opened at the Continental University of Science and Technology in Huancayo, Peru, from September 25 to October 1. The exhibition was cosponsored by the university and SGI-Peru.

The opening ceremony on September 25 was attended by some 100 teachers, staff and students of the university, including people from the local community. In total, 1,200 visited the exhibition.

Continental University Rector Dr. Esaú Tiberio Caro Meza commended SGI for its contributions to the betterment of society and for promoting a way of life which values the coexistence between the environment and human beings.

Dr. Ricardo Salcedo Zárate, Dean of Electronic Engineering at the university, shared his impressions of the exhibition, which he said teaches the way of sustainable development, the importance of protecting the Earth and living harmoniously with nature.
