From March 6-28, 2009, an exhibition entitled "A Call from Global Warming: A Photo Exhibition of the Three Extremes" showed at SGI-Hong Kong's Tuen Mun Culture Center. SGI-Hong Kong and China Polar Museum Foundation Limited (CPMF) coorganized the exhibition which aims to raise awareness on the seriousness of global warming and climate change. Since October 17, 2008, the exhibition has toured several of SGI-Hong Kong's culture centers.

CPMF Managing Director and Founder Dr. Rebecca Lee Lok-sze attended the opening and introduced the photos, which were part of research records she gathered from the planet's three extremes--the North and South Poles and Mount Everest. Dr. Lee is a distinguished explorer and environmentalist in Hong Kong.
