Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research Publishes Research Results
I. B. Tauris, U.K. recently published Challenges to Global Security: Geopolitics and Power in an Age of Transition, edited by Hussein Solomon. The book is part of a series on global peace and policy by the Toda Institute for Global Peace and Policy Research. The publication is a result of the Toda Institute's research project launched at an international conference on globalization, regionalization, and democratization (GRAD) at Magdalen College, Oxford University in March 2002.
Peace Journalism: The State of the Art, edited by Dov Shinar and Wilhelm Kempf, was published by Regener, Germany. The book's contents, concerning war and journalism, are research results of one of seven research teams launched in May 2005 at the Toda Institute's P.E.A.C.E. Project International Conference in Madrid, Spain. The P.E.A.C.E. Project focuses on [P]eace [E]ducation, [A]rts, [C]ulture and [E]nvironment in little-explored fields, including anti-racism; peace journalism; political Islam and authoritarian democracy in South Asia; and music for peace.
