Morehouse College's "Gandhi, King, Ikeda: A Legacy of Building Peace" Exhibition Opens in Chile

Local students visit the GKI exhibition

"Gandhi, King, Ikeda (GKI): A Legacy of Building Peace," an exhibition introducing the peace activism of three 20th century leaders, opened on August 4 at the National Library in Santiago, Chile. Santiago is the first city in Chile to host the exhibition. Dr. Lawrence Edward Carter Sr., dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College, USA, the exhibition's creator and sponsor, sent a message. Former Chilean Ambassador to Japan Demetrio Infante and Miguel Aylwin, son of former Chilean President Patricio Aylwin attended the opening. The exhibition runs through August 31, 2005.
