On March 13, SGI-Luxembourg joined the second Interfaith Concert at the Protestant Church of Luxembourg in the center of Luxembourg City. The concert was organized by Action Groupe Inter-Religions (AGIR) of which SGI Luxembourg has been a member for two years.

Representatives from the Baha'i, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Muslim communities, as well as the Tibetan, Zen and Soka Gakkai traditions of Buddhism attended.

Various spiritual texts were read at the event and there were performances of religious songs and music which included a Muslim women's chorus, chanting by a Lama from the Tibetan community and a classical Iranian music performance on a Santour by a member from the Baha'i community.

The Soka Gakkai Chorus also performed "Enfants de tous pays" and a representative SGI member shared passages from Nichiren's writing titled "Happiness in This World," which was preceded by an explanation of the passage.

At the end of the concert, one SGI member encouraged the representatives of the religious communities and all guests to send prayers to Japan for its safe and fast recovery in the wake of the massive earthquake and tsunamis that hit the northeastern region of the country on March 11.
