Taiwan Soka Association Wins National Civic Service Award
TSA receives the National Civic Service Award
On November 12, 2009, the Taiwan Soka Association (TSA) received theNational Civic Service Award from the Premier of Taiwan, Wu Den-yih. The award ceremony took place at the Grand Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan.
Created by the Federation of Non-Profit Associations under Taiwan's Ministry of the Interior, the National Civic Service Award honors individuals and groups that make charitable contributions, promote humanitarian activities and contribute to the development of Taiwan.
TSA was among seven organizations honored. Mr. Wu congratulated the recipients and commended them for their great contributions to society.
