Taiwan Soka Association Fife-and-Drum Corps and Children's Choir Perform at Children's Home
Young Phoenix Choir sing for the children at the Southern Region Children's Home
On September 21, 2008, some 90 members of the Taiwan Soka Association (TSA) young women's Angel Fife-and-Drum Corps and some 60 boys and girls of TSA Young Phoenix Choir visited the Southern Region Children's Home of the Minister of Interior in Kaohsiung. This was the third year in a row that TSA's cultural groups performed at the children's home. The two groups' dynamic singing, dance and music performances cheered and inspired over 100 children. In addition to the cultural show, the TSA youth presented hand-made cards to the children. Hung Chao-Jung, a representative of the Children's Home, thanked TSA for its consistent support and care for the home's children and conferred on TSA a certificate of appreciation.
