Kansai 21st Century Symphonic Orchestra to Hold Free Concert in January 2006

The Soka Gakkai Kansai 21st Century Symphonic Orchestra will hold its annual free concert on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Kobe Bunka Hall, Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. The program will include Gioachino Rossini's "William Tell Overture" and Johann Strauss' "On the Beautiful Blue Danube." The original orchestra debuted just one day prior to the devastating Hanshin Earthquake that hit the Osaka and Hyogo areas on January 17, 1995. (SGI members and non-members alike make up the orchestra.) The hall will open at 7:00 p.m. and the concert will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
