SGI-Cambodia Holds Leaders' Training Course

From May 12-13, SGI-Cambodia held its 5th leaders' training course at the SGI-Cambodia Culture Center in Phnom Penh.

The training course included four sessions which covered topics such as the importance of faith, practice and study. Members also studied SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's lecture series on "The Opening of the Eyes," one of Nichiren’s major writings.

At one session, representative SGI-Thailand members attending the course reported on the severe flooding that affected their country in 2011 and shared how through uniting together to work toward recovery they were able to overcome various struggles and deepen their understanding of faith.

SGI-Cambodia General Director Pang Vandeth concluded by encouraging participants to continue challenging to develop themselves and become people who are able to give hope to those who are in need and suffering.
