Dr. Dürr gave a lecture entitled "Compassionate Dialogue" in which he discussed the value of dialogue that can transcend and unite various disciplines, such as the worlds of academia, culture and religion, and how this can contribute to advancing peace.

On November 18, the center hosted a variety of performances including jazz, classical, Greek and Brazilian music, as well as Japanese drumming. There was also a series of lectures on the philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism and the daily practice of SGI members.
