Singapore Soka Association Youth Hold General Meeting

On January 2, 2010, Singapore Soka Association (SSA) youth members gathered at the SSA Headquarters for a general meeting. Some 1,200 attended.

The meeting started with a performance by the Golden Lion Dance Troupe. In addition, the theme song for the upcoming SSA Youth Musical (SYM) "For Humanity, For You and For Me" was also introduced at the meeting.

SSA Young Men's Leader Khoo Ghee Han, SSA Young Women's Leader Yeap Lay Huay, SSA Youth Leader Leonard Koh and SSA General Director Ong Bon Chai attended the event.

In his remarks, Mr. Koh spoke about the history of the SSA youth. Over many years, their steadfast determinations to pray for the happiness of their friends and engage in heartfelt dialogue contributed to their current unity.

SSA General Director Mr. Chai encouraged the youth participants to take the lead, in a spirit of shared commitment, to create a new era of the world peace movement in Singapore.
