SGI-Switzerland Hosts Summer Training Course in France
From June 10-13, 2010, some 150 participated in SGI-Switzerland's Summer Training Course held at the SGI-European Center in Trets, located in the south of France.
The training course focused on the value of raising and encouraging capable leaders for the future, incorporating the concept of a shared spirit of mentor and disciple. SGI-Europe Vice Women's Chair Betty Mori spoke about SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's lecture on Nichiren's writing, "The Three Kinds of Treasures" (WND, p. 848).
SGI-Switzerland General Director Massimo Marazzi and SGI-Europe Women's Chair Lucia Takahashi attended the course and encouraged participants to advance in life, taking the initiative to create unity.
SGI-Europe Executive Advisor Shoichi Hasegawa reiterated Mr. Ikeda's views on the importance and meaning of never retreating and the value of deepening dialogue and friendships.
