SGI Members in Russia Hold General Meetings

SGI members in Russia held general meetings throughout the nation in the third week of September, in the cities of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Ufa, Perm and Voronezh to commemorate the 36th anniversary of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's first visit to Russia (September 8, 1974).

Discussions at the meetings were focused on the importance of challenging to unlock one's potential and how that relates to developing true happiness and fulfillment in life. At the gathering held in Moscow, SGI-Europe Vice Chair Yoshio Nakamura and Vice Women's Leader Kimiko Brummer encouraged members to continuously challenge to contribute to the peace and harmony of Russia.
