SGI-Germany Holds Headquarters Leaders Meeting and Buddhist Seminar


On June 3, 2010, SGI-Germany held a headquarters leaders meeting at the SGI-Germany Düsseldorf center.

At the meeting, participants studied SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's guidance and had opportunities to share and discuss their thoughts in small group discussions. An SGI-Germany Men's Leader, Kazuyoshi Oishi, shared his experience of using his Buddhist practice to transform his life and encouraged members to win in life through deepening their understanding of the mentor and disciple relationship.

On May 16, SGI-Germany held a Buddhist seminar, with the theme "You Are Most Precious," at the Town Hall in Lauterbach, Germany. Yoshiharu Matsuno, SGI-Germany General Headquarters Leader, lectured on various perspectives of the law of Nichiren Buddhism and SGI's humanistic philosophy. After the lecture, participants took part in a question and answer session on the topic of the eternity of life.
