From August 6-8, 2010, over 300 SGI-Denmark members attended a training session in Helsingør, Denmark. The course, focused on the Buddhist term "Boddhisattvas of the Earth," offered participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Buddhism through the study of Nichiren's writings.

A series of study lectures were given by SGI-Denmark General Director Jan Møller and Women's Leader Cecilie Engen Winton. Topics discussed included the importance of creating a united effort and what it means to live in accord with the teachings of the Lotus Sutra.

On the first day, Dr. John Avery, chair of Pugwash Denmark and member of the Danish Peace Academy, attended as guest lecturer and spoke about the urgent need to establish a human society free from the threat of nuclear weapons. He especially encouraged the young people attending to do their best to become protagonists for peace.

On the following day, participants attended a small culture festival that included dance and music performances.
