SGI-Cambodia Appoints New General Director
SGI-Cambodia General Director Pang Vandeth
On April 4, 2010, SGI-Cambodia held its 36th Headquarters Leaders Meeting at the SGI-Cambodia Culture Center in Phnom Penh.
The meeting included the appointment of Pang Vandeth as the new SGI-Cambodia General Director as well as a Q&A session with SGI-Thailand Executive Chair Somsak Likitjariyanon and Kazuhiko Banno, advisors to SGI-Cambodia. Also at the meeting, SGI-Cambodia Women's Leader Neth Vorleak introduced SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's message to participants which congratulated them on their meeting.
In his introductory remarks, Mr. Pang shared his resolve to work for the advancement of peace together with fellow members and to embody a shared commitment of mentor and disciple. He further stated that sincerity is key in maintaining a determination that will result in victory.
SGI-Cambodia currently has 3 chapters, 12 districts and 59 groups, with more than 1000 members.
