Buddhist Meetings Held in Africa

In November 2010, SGI members throughout Africa gathered in their local areas to commemorate Soka Gakkai's founding (November 18, 1930).

Some 140 SGI members gathered in Accra, Ghana, while a total of 20 members from Namibia attended meetings held in Windhoek and Walvis Bay. Similar meetings were held in Harare, Zimbabwe and Cape Town, South Africa.
