Buddhist Seminar on Canada's Prince Edward Island
Mr. Mitsumura, SGI-Canada representative, speaking at Buddhist seminar
On March 14, 2009, SGI-Canada's Prince Edward Island District held a public seminar on Buddhism at Confederation Centre Public Library in Charlottetown. SGI-Canada representative Hirokazu Mitsumura presented an overview of Buddhist philosophy, covering life and death, the nine levels of consciousness and how to transform one's destiny. This was the second seminar presented at the library. Some 78 members and local residents attended. The first seminar, held in November 2008, provided an introduction to Buddhism.
