SGI-Panama Women and Young Women Meet

On August 2 and 3, 2008, SGI-Panama women and young women gathered for their first combined meeting in Chitré. Some 40 members from Panama City, Colón, Herrera, Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro attended.

Referencing the example of Kaneko Ikeda, wife of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, participants discussed the importance of each individual taking the initiative to challenge her own personal growth and of creating truly happy lives through confidently fulfilling her purpose in living.

Mr. Ikeda sent a congratulatory message in which he encouraged everyone to build a "great castle brimming with happiness and glory" through harmonious relationships based on a spirit of personal responsibility and appreciating diversity.
