SGI-Nepal Members Meet; Exhibition on Nuclear Weapons Abolition and Human Security Shown

"From a Culture of Violence to a Culture of Peace: Transforming the Human Spirit" exhibition at SGI-Nepal Peace Center

On May 3, 2008, SGI-Nepal members met at the SGI-Nepal Peace Center in Kathmandu, commemorating May 3, Soka Gakkai Day. Representatives reported on breakthroughs achieved with their daily Buddhist practice and youth talked about the significance of May 3. SGI-Nepal General Director Sahana Shrestha encouraged everyone to live with a great vision of world peace and people's happiness that will enable them to achieve victories in their own lives.

On the same day, the SGI exhibition "From a Culture of Violence to a Culture of Peace: Transforming the Human Spirit" that examines the nuclear weapons issue through the lens of human security was shown in the center's garden.
