SGI Women from Belgium and Luxembourg Meet in Brussels

On April 13, 2008, some 170 SGI women representatives from Belgium and Luxembourg gathered for a meeting at the SGI-Belgium Culture Center in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting was simultaneously translated into three languages--Dutch, French and English. SGI-Luxembourg Women's Leader Claudine Ries reported her victories at her workplace while another member spoke how she transformed a life of suffering from illness. SGI-Belgium Women's Leader Roslyn Hashimoto-Cohen emphasized that everyone is capable of unleashing their vast inner potential through daily practice of Nichiren Buddhism. She encouraged women to overcome all their hardships and to develop into individuals who inspire hope in those around them.
