SGI-Finland Holds Summer Course in Paimio, Finland

From June 16-17, 2007, SGI-Finland held a summer study course in Paimio, Finland. Forty-eight SGI members from throughout the country gathered for the event with the theme, "We are Lions, We are Victors." SGI-Europe Chair Hideaki Takahashi led a study of "The Opening of the Eyes," one of Nichiren's major writings. Representatives shared personal experiences of triumphing at their jobs, creating harmony in their families and contributing to society based on their practice of Nichiren Buddhism. Participants enjoyed a cultural interlude of spontaneous songs and instrumental performances provided by the youth members.
