SGI-Côte d'Ivoire Youth Hold Rally

On March 17, 2007, some 1,750 SGI-Côte d'Ivoire youth members gathered in Abidjan to commemorate March 16, 1958, a significant day in the history of the Soka Gakkai when second Soka Gakkai President Josei Toda, weakened and failing in health, bequeathed to the youth that gathered with him the task of realizing the peace and happiness of humanity based on the philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism. The young people of SGI-Côte d'Ivoire renewed their determination to become protagonists of the current era and spread hope in society by first challenging to develop and positively transform their lives and dedicate themselves to others' happiness.
