SGI-Switzerland Kicks Off 2007
On January 28, 2007, SGI-Switzerland held its first "New Era" gathering in the scenic city of Lucerne with some 150 representatives from across the country. Representatives from four SGI-Switzerland chapters shared experiences of applying the practice of Nichiren Buddhism in their daily lives as well as their goals for 2007, in one of three languages--French, Italian or German. Following words by Young Men's Leader Matthias Broadbeck and Young Women's Leader Tae Takahashi, General Director Massimo Marazzi and Women's Leader Mitsue Takahashi expressed their hopes for everyone to initiate dialogue and develop friendships, spreading understanding of the SGI's activities in their local communities.
