SGI-Nepal Holds 7th Future Division General Meeting for Boys and Girls
On January 27, 2007, SGI-Nepal held its seventh general meeting for its boys and girls group or the Future Division at the SGI-Nepal Peace Center in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital. Two participants reported on their efforts to put their studies first and succeed in their schoolwork. Jolly Prahan, Future Division leader, encouraged those present to become "protagonists of the 21st century," based on SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's encouragement to young people to make study a priority and cultivate their lives while remaining true to themselves. SGI-Nepal General Director Sahana Shrestha advised the participants to respect one another, challenge to read good books during their youth and take responsibility for their own actions. Several young people staged a music show comprising a piano recital, guitar duet and traditional dance.
