SGI-Europe Associations Greet the New Year

In Spain, some 800 members gathered at 20 venues including Gran Canaria, the Canary Islands, and at the SGI-Spain Culture Center in Madrid. In Italy, some 15,000 members attended meetings at SGI-Italy's ten community centers across the country including the SGI-Italy Culture Center in Florence. In Germany, some 3,000 kicked off the New Year at 24 venues including Villa Sachsen Grand Culture Center in Bingen City. In the UK, 500 attended a meeting at SGI-UK's Taplow Court Grand Culture Centre. In the Netherlands, 500 gathered at ten venues. SGI members in other European countries such as Sweden and Belgium also met to launch 2007, which the SGI has named the "Year of Advancement and Victory."
