SGI Youth in Ghana and Nigeria Hold Training Sessions

From August 25 to 27, SGI-Ghana youth held a training session at Bunso Cocoa College in Bunso, a suburb of Accra. Some 150 youth leaders gathered to strengthen their bonds of friendship as well as the spirit of mentor and disciple. The group studied SGI President Daisaku Ikeda's lecture on Nichiren's writing, "On Attaining Buddhahood in This Lifetime."

SGI-Nigeria youth also held a training session from August 11 to 13 in Nigeria's capital, Abuja. With a theme of "Renewing Our Vow," the youth studied selected writings of Nichiren and SGI President Ikeda's speeches. The youth determined together that they would each develop "the capability of a thousand" and contribute to peace and prosperity of their country and the global community.
