Guest speaker Caren Bedsworth, Community Disaster Education Program Coordinator of the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross, delivered a lecture titled "Be Red Cross Ready" on disaster preparedness. Amongst other topics featured were "Coping with Loss" by Dr. Patrick Scott, vice president of Heads Up Guidance and Wellness Center and president of Summerlin Health and Wellness, and "Learning About Nutrition" by internationally known chef and author Sharynne Gambrell-Frazer.
