Culture Festivals Held in Luxembourg and Belgium
SGI-Luxembourg members singingIn commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Soka Gakkai, SGI-Luxembourg and Belgium held culture festivals in November. SGI-Luxembourg held its festival in Bourglinster on November 11, drawing an international mix of attendees.
In Belgium, SGI members held their festival in Brussels on November 14, with a turn-out of 1,100. The event showcased a variety of dance, music, and a chorus and piano concert.

Dr. Karel Dobbelaere, former president of the International Society for the Sociology of Religions, attended with his wife. Following the festival, they shared their impressions of the festival, saying that the multicultural performances reflected the potential for unity and harmony among people of different nationalities.
