Soka Gakkai Youth From Kyushu Visit South Korea for Exchange Meeting

Japanese delegation sings "Arirang" with SGI-Korea members on Jeju Island

From March 15-18, 2008, Soka Gakkai youth representatives from Kyushu, southern Japan, participated in a Korea-Japan Goodwill Trip. This was the fifth exchange between Soka Gakkai Kyushu and SGI-Korea members.

On March 15, the Japanese delegation visited the SGI-Korea headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. On March 16, the group participated in the Korea-Japan Youth Friendship Convention in Incheon City. The next day, the Kyushu members visited the newly-opened Soka Happiness Kindergarten in Seoul and traveled to Jeju (Cheju) Island in the afternoon, where they attended an exchange meeting with local SGI-Korea members. On March 18, the delegation participated in the Korea-Japan Youth Peace Forum at SGI-Korea's Korea-Japan Friendship Training Center on Jeju Island and returned to Japan in the evening.
