From July 5-12, 2007, the Russian Dance Theater "Ozorniki" and Folk Ensemble "Galaktika" combined for a ten-concert tour of Hyogo, Osaka, Nagano, Niigata and Ishikawa Prefectures in Japan at the invitation of the Min-On Concert Association. During their tour, Ozorniki & Galaktika visited two schools as a part of Min-On's free school concert series. [The series began in 1973 to present a variety of musical genres to children with little opportunity to experience live performances.] On July 6, Ozorniki & Galaktika received an enthusiastic welcome from students at the Wake Elementary School in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture. The Russian group performed traditional folk songs, dances and music, such as the rigorous Cossack dance, with the audience clapping in time to the music.

On July 9, Ozorniki & Galaktika performed for students at the Shinshu Shinmachi Elementary School in Nagano Prefecture.
