SGI-Hong Kong Participates in Celebrations for Tenth Anniversary of Repatriation

July 1, 2007 will mark the tenth anniversary of Hong Kong's establishment as the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the return of sovereignty to China. SGI-Hong Kong members have been participating in celebratory events taking place in Hong Kong. The Cosmic Brass Band and Bauhinia Fife-and-Drum Corps marched in a grand parade together with other bands. The men's and young women's choirs collaborated with a local orchestra for a joint concert on April 22. As well as celebrating the tenth anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, the concert aimed to foster appreciation for the arts and music.
