Stories and reflections on the Buddhist approach to life
From March 28–30, a group of volunteers from Brazil SGI (BSGI) Men’s Division from São Paulo traveled to 137 venues across the country to attend exchange meetings with fellow BSGI members.
The meetings, which aim to strengthen bonds of friendship and support, were held in locations including Rio de Janeiro; Foz do Iguaçu, a border city in Paraná State; Macapá City in Amapá State which lies on the equator and remote locations in Amazonas State.
The first group of volunteers was formed in June 1984 and the exchange meetings have been held biennially since then. Transportation costs are paid by the volunteers who travel great distances to reach remote areas.
