On June 16, SGI-Croatia held its second General Meeting in Zagreb, with SGI Europe Women's Leader Suzanne Pritchard in attendance. During a Q&A session, Ms. Pritchard encouraged participants to view hardships as opportunities to move forward based on Buddhist practice. At the meeting there were also experiences on the transformative power of Buddhism and participants shared their determinations for the future.
SGI-Russia also held a meeting that commemorated July 3, mentor and disciple day, in Moscow on June 29. The meeting brought together members from Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kaluga, which is located about 150 km southwest of Moscow.
