Interfaith

SGI groups around the world actively participate in interfaith dialogue and initiatives aimed at building understanding between peoples of different faiths. SGI is a regular participant in the Parliament of the World's Religions and has also held a series of interfaith symposiums with the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. From 2004 to 2007, SGI's representative to the UN in New York served as president of the Committee of Religious NGOs at the UN.
