| Soka Gakkai Indonesia Holds Youth Study Session |
On January 11 and 12, 2008, Soka Gakkai Indonesia (SGI-Indonesia) held its Second National Youth Study Session in Lembang, a suburb of Bandung City in West Java State. Some 240 youth--college students and junior and senior high school students--attended. With a theme of "Winning in Life," participants studied the ten worlds, a basic Buddhist concept. They also studied Discussions on Youth, a book by SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, which provides encouragement and advice relevant to young people concerning family, friendship, love, dreams and goals, and self-confidence.
