SGI Men from Benelux Meet at Villa Sachsen, Germany
On October 21, 2007, 120 SGI men of Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg) met for their first men's division general meeting at the Villa Sachsen Culture Center in Bingen, Germany. Titled "Pillar of Society and the SGI," the meeting was a venue for the participants to discuss cultivating their lives through a positive, inner-directed reformation based on the humanistic philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism and how their efforts have been reflected in their endeavors in society and in their interaction with their families. Shuichi Hamaguchi (Luxembourg), Haruki Oki (Belgium) and Harry Kloezen (The Netherlands) shared their personal experiences of winning victories in their lives through Nichiren Buddhism. SGI-Europe Vice Chair Matthias Gröninger encouraged everyone to gain trust at their workplace, in the community and in society at large based on resolute prayer and sincere actions.
