| SGI-Nepal Makes Fresh Start with New Youth Leaders |
New SGI youth leaders were recently appointed In Nepal, the birthplace of Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. Navin Manandhar, Urika Shakya and Laxman Dangol have been appointed SGI-Nepal youth division (YD) leader, young women's division (YWD) Leader and young men's division (YMD) leader, respectively.

Mr. Dangol resolved to work together with his fellow members to win over their own limitations and lead victorious lives while working for the happiness and flourishing of Nepalese society. Ms. Shakya shared her pledge and commitment to set a good example in her Buddhist faith and practice so that she can inspire courage in the young women members. Mr. Manandhar said he is determined to solidify the foundation of SGI's peace activities in Nepal by 2010, the 80th anniversary of the founding of Soka Gakkai.
