| SGI Youth of the Balkans Hold General Meeting |
SGI youth of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro held a combined general meeting from March 16 to 18 in Scopje, the capital of Macedonia. After activity reports by representatives from each country, SGI-Serbia leader Masaru Katano lectured on Nichiren's writings, followed by a question and answer session. The meeting closed with SGI-Macedonia leader Domenico Albonetti expressing his personal resolve to take the initiative to contribute to a peaceful and secure society. The weekend ended with the participants announcing a joint declaration of their shared commitment to creating a new era of peace in the Balkan region.
