| SGI-USA Queens Center Opens in New York City, USA |
SGI-USA recently opened a new center in Queens, New York City, USA. Local SGI-USA members gathered for the opening on May 14 and 15. Commemorating the center's opening, New York State representatives, New York City council members and the Queens County District Attorney proclaimed May 14 "SGI Day," respectively. The honors recognized SGI-USA members' grassroots efforts based on their Buddhist practice to work for people's happiness and personal development through the power of education and culture.
